“…I tried to start convincing people to work with me in catching him as I didn’t want to race for 2nd. I was able to get 3 others to work in a nice group with me rotating at the front and dragging the rest with us. We caught him right before the last turn. After the last turn it was pure chaos as everyone was together and scrambling for wheels. I handled the first two attacks which came early. The last attack I took the wrong wheel and had to play in no mans land for some time. I was gaining on the top 3 riders but was unable to bridge. I ended up holding off a FSB rider for 4th. It was great to be out there with Chris (who spent the previous day in the ER)…Crazy finish…”
